The rain continued in the evening, but our time here turned out to be more than interesting!
We had the option of having supper with the hosts. Great meal and then we spent hours hearing stories about what it's like to be a cattle rancher in British Columbia. Turns out Barb and heR husband had a ranch in Osoyoos and know the people we will be staying with when we are the on the way home! Small world!
Barb is also an avid quilter so I got a chance to exchange some idea while Karl hung out at the hummingbird feeder - they were coming continually!
Well, sun's up, no rain so far! We did get to go for our walk and took some great pix - I hear breakfast started ... In an hour we'll head off for the coast and Victoria.
