We decided to drive longer today so that we would have more time in Canmore (last few days...) So we hitched up the wagons and headed down the mountains (and up them and around them....)We stopped for a picnic at the prettiest mountain lake and of course to check out some of the incredible views. When you are looking down from the top of a mountain, it seems like the world is spreading out at your feet. We made one rather sudden stop when we saw a sign telling us Kitchener was just around the corner! Karl got momentarily confused and pulled out the "real" paper maps!!!
Lots of great mountain views and pretty streams, and just the normal fantastic scenery everywhere!
At this moment we are having dinner at Denny's in Cranbrook. Will try to make it to Radium Hot Springs this evening so that tomorrow will br a shorter driving day to Canmore.
